Business Architect / Product Owner

Are you motivated by creating overview and connection between business and complex software solutions? Do you have experience running project successfully from concept development to launching? We are looking for a visionary Business Architect/Product Owner, who will play a crucial role for Hesehus’ award-winning e-commerce platform and our new, innovative content management project.

In the role as Business Architect/Product Owner you will be one of the driving forces in supporting this ambitious journey. In collaboration with a dedicated team your task will be to obtain a deep understanding of our business strategy, the commercial requirements, and the technical implications in complex and innovative development projects. Your first major task will be to secure that we succeed with a new, innovative content management project, therefore it will be an advantage to have knowledge and experience from the CMS market. 

Your primary tasks:

  • As a Business Architect/Product Owner you will systematically gather, analyze, and structure commercial requirements, data, flows and user scenarios and based on these you will design charts, user stories and wireframes/mockups. In short, you will translate the business needs into technical requirements which the developers on the team can implement. 
  • Your strengths in networking and your ability to communicate on the same level as the business, the customers, the architects, the UX designers and the lead developers on the team project will be an advantage to you as you will often collaborate to visualize and incorporate solution designs from a business perspective.
  • Your workday will naturally vary from having the ownership of what the product should contain to engaging in technical dialogue with the developers and architects on the team to secure good solution design for how a feature must be built.
  • You will take part in the whole development process, follow the tasks all the way to the end and take responsibility for the delivery. During the process you will create common understanding and consensus about the solutions scope and milestones by challenging and aligning the business, architects and developers on how to prioritize requirements and solution choices.


Who are you?  

We expect you to have a higher education within IT, preferrable with some years of experience from a similar position where you have worked with large, complex IT solutions. Your career might have started within software development but your interest and flair for business have resulted in that are now working on identifying and aligning business needs with the technical development department.
You have experience controlling processes from concept development to launching, are used to end-to-end scenarios, and have knowledge about best practices in an agile setup. You understand the value of working with Prove of Concepts (POCs), Minimum Lovable Products (MLP) as a way to secure the best possible product in the fastest and best way. 

Your acquired experience has furthermore given you a foundation to challenge and collaborate with all relevant parties in the process. You are solution-oriented and thrive taking responsibility in a team where you perform on a high level. Furthermore, you like a dynamic workday and have a big drive. You are enthusiastic about combining your strong analytical competences and deep technical knowledge with creative thinking to reach the best result.

Your toolbox:

  • User stories and user story mapping
  • Process charts, system design and flow modelling
  • Wireframing and mockups
  • Facilitation of workshops in order to gather insights
  • Accustomed to secure that deliveries are done in time and within the agreed scope
