Software Architect - Bizzkit

Security, quality, performance, and scalability are key requirements in our software development and as a software architect you will play a crucial role in this. You will, among other things, be at the head of ensuring the optimal architecture of one of the most essential software products within e-commerce. In the role as a Software Architect, you will be the technical guide for the best tool for product information management, PIM. Where product data, complex attribute modeling and relationships, workflows, working with top performance and scaling large product catalogs, as well as multiple job processes, are some of the cornerstones.
In close collaboration with our Business Architect, lead developers, and other architects on the Bizzkit team, you will translate business needs into specific suggested solutions. You will identify the technical challenges and technological improvements. Namely, you are the one who knows how to weigh different solutions and can convincingly put forward the pros and cons of different directions. You will furthermore ensure the interaction between the Bizzkit platform's mutual solutions and the customer solutions that are built on top.
In your role, you will be assigned a great responsibility, where you will act as a sounding board and mentor for your developer colleagues. You will furthermore contribute to competence development and support, inspire and guide Bizzkit’s product manager and partners on the roadmap for our architectural development. Your flair for good communication will also be a strength in situations where you need to convey technical messages to someone who does not necessarily have the same deep technical insight, but where understanding is critical to making the right business decisions.
Your primary tasks:
- Ensure the optimal architecture and utilization of e.g., cloud technologies
- Ensure that the architectural model meets Bizzkit’s quality demands and that the right technological decisions are made for the Bizzkit product portfolio in relation to our roadmap.
- Architectural discussion and technical dialogue with both developers and solution partners.
- Code reviews and technical dialogues with the developers about the architecture and best practice.
- Participate in customer meetings/workshops, including discussions of opportunities, budget, clarification of vision, business flows and technical requirements for the solution.

Who are you?
You have experience with software development at architectural level and have a higher education within IT, such as a civil engineer or computer scientist. You are passionate about working with software architecture and have knowledge of Azure or other cloud services and know how to incorporate these into the products and solution architecture.
You have high ambitions to develop and deliver software architectures that excite and attract recognition from other skilled software developers and that ultimately create value for end customers.
We expect for you are curious by nature and that you keep pace with the newest technologies. It is a requirement that you have experience with the .NET platform, where you have developed ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core web solutions, and perhaps you are also familiar with EF Core.
As a person, it is natural for you to you to take the lead when making decisions and deciding the direction for architecture and best practice. You are good at networking and are a competent communicator who can effectively convey high technical knowledge.
